ARTWORK REQUIREMENT
Please remember the quality of the imprint can be no better than the quality of the art.

ELECTRONIC ART
We are PC based and require that you submit PC files. Art can be submitted via email. Our email address for art is
topspen@yahoo.com. A hard copy of artwork must be received by factory prior to sending art via e-mails. All e-mails MUST
include company name, phone number and contact name and your P.O. #. A hard copy printout in black and white or in color to
verify correct art and fonts were received. For mult-color jobs, please include a composite as well as printed separation.
When sending artwork, please follow these requirements:
- Convert all fonts to outlines
- Resolution should be 600 dpi or higher
- File must contain all .eps and .tif file required to output file to film
- A copy of all type fonts used as part of the artwork
- A hard copy of proposed artwork

COMPUTER SOFTWARE
Tops Pen supports the following computer programs:
- Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
- Adobe Photoshop (.eps, .tif)
- All text must be converted to outline or vector form.

RECOMMENDATIONS
VECTOR art such as illustrator provide superior reproduction quality and allows images to be re-sized without loss of sharpness or detail. |

UNACCEPTABLE ARTWORK/TEXT FILES
Faxes, copies of faxed, photocopies, photographs, slides, transparentcies, negative stats or films that need to be reversed to positive, halftone art that needs to be resized, low resolution laser printed artwork of less than 600 dpi, letterhead, business cards, actual product or any other art that needs to be touched up, color separated or made one color. Text files from word processing documents such as PowerPoint, Word Perfect cannot be used.
Print ready artwork should be vectorized in Adobe Illustrator .eps or .ai format |
